A railway-station trip begins before you get into the car: it begins with checking the ticket. Saying only “the railway station” is not precise enough in Kryvyi Rih because several passenger stations serve different parts of the city. Before booking a taxi, confirm the station name, its address, your departure time and the amount of luggage.
According to the city transport department, Kryvyi Rih has six passenger railway stations. Kryvyi Rih-Holovnyi and Rokuvata are the two principal railway terminals. There is also a separate station named Kryvyi Rih, which should not be confused with Kryvyi Rih-Holovnyi.
Use the station name shown on the ticket or in the current Ukrzaliznytsia timetable. If somebody else bought the ticket, ask them to send a screenshot showing the full station name, train number, date and time. A message that says only “main station” is not a reliable source for the destination.
Enter the complete pickup address and the exact destination station. Check the map pin in the app: it should be beside the correct building or an accessible meeting point, not on the next street or inside a courtyard that a car cannot enter. Our guide to checking a taxi pickup point explains this in more detail.
If you are booking for somebody else, add a useful note with the passenger’s name, the number of suitcases and the agreed meeting point. Once a car has been assigned, send the passenger its make, colour and registration number. Avoid putting unnecessary personal information or ticket details in the note.
Start with the recommended station arrival time, then add the estimated driving time and a reasonable buffer. The passenger may need time to find the correct entrance, carry luggage, wait in a queue or respond to changing road conditions. Traffic, roadworks and difficult weather can make the journey longer.
Check the train’s current status through an official Ukrzaliznytsia channel before leaving. Do not rely on a departure time copied from an old message because schedules may change. If the app updates the estimated arrival time of your car, review the whole journey: pickup, boarding, the drive and the time needed inside the station.
A regular passenger class listed on the SHARK Taxi Kryvyi Rih page may be suitable for one traveller with a compact suitcase. For a larger load, count all full-size suitcases, cabin bags, pushchairs and other bulky items before placing the order.
For additional luggage, consider a Kryvyi Rih estate-car taxi. If several people are travelling together, check whether the seating and luggage capacity offered by the minivan option fits the group. A larger vehicle does not automatically guarantee enough room for every passenger and many suitcases, so include an accurate luggage count in the booking.
When travelling with a child, select the city page’s confirmed child-seat or booster option according to the available conditions. Do not assume that every vehicle carries the required equipment unless it has been selected.
Ask the arriving passenger to confirm the station name from the ticket and contact you after the train arrives. Agree on a specific meeting point: the main entrance, a named side of the building or another place that a car can reach. “Meet me outside the station” may not be precise enough, especially for a visitor who does not know the city.
Do not time the booking using only the scheduled arrival. First check the train’s current status, then allow enough time for the passenger to leave the carriage, collect their belongings and walk to the agreed pickup point.
You can book a taxi to a railway station in Kryvyi Rih through the SHARK app or by calling the short number 3000. Before confirming, review the route, station and selected vehicle class once more.
